How I Can Help

You may come with a specific symptom, a change in your health or a desire to better understand and protect your future wellbeing.

My areas of expertise include preventive health and longevity, lifestyle medicine, perimenopause and menopause, and medical weight management.

These areas often overlap. You do not need to identify the right category or decide which type of assessment you require before booking. Start with what matters most to you, and we will consider it within the context of your wider health.

Preventive Health & Longevity

Understand where your health is now—and what deserves your attention

You may feel generally well but want a clearer understanding of your health, future disease risk and what you can meaningfully do to remain healthy, independent and physically capable over time.

A preventive health assessment considers your medical and family history, existing risk factors, lifestyle, relevant biomarkers, physical health and personal goals.

The focus is not on testing or optimising everything. It is on identifying the small number of factors most likely to influence your future health and developing a realistic, evidence-based plan.

This may be right for you if:

• You want a comprehensive review of your current and future health.
• You have a significant family history and want to understand your risk.
• You want to reduce your risk of preventable disease.
• You want to protect your strength, mobility and independence as you age.
• You have completed health testing but are unsure what the results mean.
• You receive conflicting health and longevity advice and want a medically grounded plan.
• You want to know what to prioritise—and what you do not need to pursue.

Perimenopause & Menopause

Understand what is changing and make informed treatment decisions

Perimenopause and menopause can affect many aspects of health, including menstrual patterns, temperature regulation, sleep, mood, cognition, sexual health, body composition, bone and cardiometabolic health.

Assessment begins with your symptoms and their effect on your life. It also considers your medical history, individual risk factors, relevant investigations and longer-term health.

Treatment may include menopause hormone therapy, non-hormonal treatment, lifestyle intervention or a combination of approaches, depending on your needs and clinical circumstances.

This may be right for you if:

You think you may be experiencing perimenopause or menopause.
Your periods, sleep, mood, temperature regulation or sexual health have changed.
You want to discuss whether hormone therapy may be appropriate.
You are using hormone therapy but need a detailed review.
You have concerns about hormone therapy because of your medical or family history.
You want to consider symptom management alongside bone, cardiovascular and metabolic health.
You are unsure whether your symptoms are hormonal or have another explanation.

Medical Weight Management

Look beyond the number on the scale

Weight and metabolic health are influenced by biology, genetics, life stage, medical conditions, medications, sleep, nutrition, movement and the environment in which you live.

Medical weight management may include assessment of weight history, metabolic health, body composition, previous treatment, current lifestyle and the factors contributing to weight change or difficulty losing weight.

Where clinically appropriate, medical treatment for weight loss can be considered. Care remains focused on protecting nutrition, muscle, bone and physical function—not weight loss alone.

This may be right for you if:

You want medical help with weight or metabolic health.
Your weight or body composition has changed despite your usual efforts.
You want to discuss medical treatment for weight loss.
You are already using weight-loss medication and need appropriate monitoring.
You are concerned about insulin resistance, blood pressure, cholesterol or future metabolic risk.
You want to lose fat while protecting lean mass, strength and nutrition.
Previous approaches have been restrictive, unsustainable or unsuccessful.

When More Than One Area Applies

You may recognise yourself in several of these areas. This is common and does not mean that you need to book several different initial appointments.

For example:

  • Perimenopause may be occurring alongside weight change, sleep disruption and concerns about future bone health.

  • Preventive health goals may involve metabolic health, body composition, menopause and lifestyle.

  • Difficulty changing lifestyle may relate to symptoms, medications, physical limitations or competing demands.

Your initial appointment will begin with your most important concerns. Together, we will identify what needs attention now, what can be addressed later and whether any further assessment or referral is appropriate.

Not Sure Where to Start?

You do not need to select an area of care when booking. All new patients begin with a comprehensive 60-minute telehealth appointment. You will be asked to describe your main concerns and what you would most like to achieve.
